As a result of surgery such as breast reconstruction, the nipple and areola can often be left missing or damaged. Medical micropigmentation can recreate and correct the impairment. It can also darken the areola if the patient is naturally pale in these areas. MCA, a dry needling procedure can be used to minimise post-operative scarring.
